Jaipur

ITINERIRY SUMMARY:

🚗 Mode of Travel:

  • Mumbai to Jaipur: Train
  • Within Jaipur: Cab and Auto
⌛ Trip Duration: 5 Days

Jaipur is one of the most beautiful cities to visit in Rajasthan, India. There are magnificent historical buildings there, including temples, forts, palaces, and museums. In this blog, I've included the places I went throughout my five-day trip, along with some nearby restaurants and directions.

We boarded a train in Raigad's Karjat and began our journey. Since Mumbai Central was the starting station for the Jaipur Superfast train, we travelled there from Karjat. From Karjat, it takes 2 and a half hours to get to central Mumbai. As the Jaipur Superfast train was scheduled to depart for Jaipur at 7:05 PM, we arrived at Mumbai Central around 6:30 PM. Mumbai Central to Jaipur journey time was 17 hours. At 12 PM, we arrived at Jaipur Junction. Outside of Jaipur Junction, there are several autos available, or you can reserve an OLA or Uber at your convenience to get to your hotel. Hotel Rawala Mrigayani Palace was reserved by us. The cost of the taxi from Jaipur Junction to the Hotel was 120 Rs.

HOTEL (Rawala Mrigayani Palace):

For the subsequent three days, we were at Rawala Mrigayani Palace. The distance between the hotel and the Jaipur junction is 6.1 km. the size of the rooms was adequate. Typical Rajasthani architecture may be seen inside the hotel, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. I will recommend the other restaurants I have listed below because the food was costly here. Inside the hotel, hot water is always available. Hotel and Hawa Mahal are nearby. Overall, the hotel stay was pleasant.

There is free parking available.

VISITED PLACES:
  • Hawa Mahal:

    Hawa Mahal

In the Indian city of Jaipur, there is Hawa Mahal Palace, constructed from sandstone that is crimson and pink. The cost to get from a hotel to the Hawa Mahal is Rs. Without a doubt, one should witness the architecture of the Hawa Mahal. Each person must pay a 50-rupee entry fee. You can visit Johri Bajar after viewing Hawa Mahal.

    Hawa Maha Timing: 6AM-7PM
    No parking space is available.

  • Albert Hall Museum:

    Albert Hall Museum

It costs 120 Rs to get from a hotel to the Albert Hall Museum. $50 is the entry fee per individual. The best time to visit is in the evening when the museum's lighting is spectacular. The museum has old artefacts like paintings, sculptures, weapons, and clothing that have been preserved. You may find unique Rajasthani items in the main Jaipur market, which is close to the Albert Hall Museum.

    Museum Timing: 7 AM- 10PM

  • Birla Mandir:

    Birla Mandir

Albert Hall Museum is not far from Birla Mandir. The temple is stunning and well-maintained. People go there to receive Lord Lakshmi and Lord Narayan's blessing. In the temple, photography is not permitted. There are three additional temples nearby the Birla Mandir that you should absolutely visit as well because the atmosphere is so relaxing.

Birla Mandir Timing: 9 AM-9 PM

  • Amer Fort:

Amer Fort, Nahargarh Fort, and Jaigarh Fort are the three forts of Jaipur. We went to the Amer fort. The cost to get to Amer Fort was 100RS. You can take steps up to the top of Amer Fort from the base, or you can rent a Jeep for Rs.400–Rs.450. Since the distance is relatively short and there is frequently traffic because the roads are so narrow, I will advise taking steps. Jeep fare is Rs. 1800 if you wish to tour all three forts. We came in a Jeep. Amer Stepwell is located on the route to Amer Fort.

Once at the top, you must pay an entry fee of Rs.100 to view Amer Palace and Garden, although the cost is wholly justified given how amazing the palace is. At the top, there are a number of tiny stalls and an elephant ride option. Amer Fort hosts a light show at night.

    Amer fort timing: 8AM- 8PM.
There is a parking spot accessible at the fort, and it costs Rs. 50.
