ITINERIRY SUMMARY:

🚗 Mode of Travel: Car
⌛ Trip duration: 1 Day
⌚ Ideal Start Time: 7 AM

In Maharashtra, India, Pune is one of the most stunning cities to visit on a spiritual journey. It has beautiful historical structures like temples. I've listed the locations I visited on my one-day excursion in this blog, along with some local restaurants and directions.

From Karjat in Raigad, we set out on our journey by car. Pune can be reached in three and a half hours from Karjat.

VISITED PLACES:

  • Narayanpur Datta Mandir (Ek Mukhi Datta Mandir):

The Narayanpur Datta Mandir is situated in the Pune district's Purandhar valley in Narayanpur. Ek Mukhi Datta is an idol in Narayanpur Datta Mandir, and the Padukas are worshipped. Near the Datta temple, devotees worship the Audumbar tree. The holy tree (Audumbar tree) is considered to be the most blessed tree by Datta.

At 11 AM, we arrived at Narayanpur Datta Mandir. There was a smaller crowd and a lovely atmosphere.

Narayanpur Datta Mandir is open from 5 AM until 10 PM.

  • Shri Mayureshwar Morgaon:

Shri Mayureshwar Moragaon Temple is a Hindu temple (Mandir) dedicated to Ganesha. It is located in Morgaon in Pune district, about 65 Km away from Pune City. The temple is the starting and ending point of pilgrimage of eight revered Ganesha temples called Ashtavinayaka.

We reach Shri Mayureshwar Morgaon Mandir at 12.30 PM. There was a long Queue inside the temple, and you have to wait for half or one hour.

    Mayureshwar Morgaon Temple
is open from 5 AM until 10.20 PM.

Jejuri is the main center of worship of Khandoba. Jejuri is situated about 80 Kilometers away from Pune in the administrative district of Purandar. The place is mesmerizing with turmeric everywhere and shouts of yelkot yelkot Jai Malhar. One has to climb a series of almost 200 steps to reach the temple.
